Bear River Llamas owned by Penny Taylor and son Scott Goerzen is a totally independent family business. Our facility is nestled in Clifton, Idaho at the foot of beautiful mountains and the Caribou National Forest. It is even possible to leave our facility and hike to the forest, but sometimes we drive up to a meadow at the head of the forest and park there so we can hike the llamas further back.
Our llamas have been led by children and people of all ages. Llamas are a great option for those who love the countryside, walking and animals. Most people come because llama trekking is so completely relaxing whilst they discover superb scenery and that llamas are very inquisitive, extremely alert, keen wildlife spotters and great characters.
My son and I have a deep affection for llamas especially our own. We love to just sit out in the yard and watch them being silly. And we greatly appreciate being able to take them into the backcountry. Our
